EDINBURGH
David D. Harmon, 69 of Edinburgh, Indiana passed away May 3, 2022 at his residence. He was born December 16, 1952 in Seymour, Indiana. He was the son of Charles and Dorothy (Smith) Harmon. He married Karen (Hancock) Harmon January 7, 1980 and she survives. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Harmon of Edinburgh, Indiana, granddaughter, Willow Harmon of Edinburgh, Indiana, and sisters, Dottie (Tom) Lain of Florida and Peggy Harmon of Greenwood, Indiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Pat Cummings, Kay Rouse, Sybil Eubank, Diana Kelsay, and Pamela Ping.
David was a 1971 graduate of Edinburgh High School and attended Who-So-Ever-Will Community Church. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 2014.
He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his “lunch dates” with his granddaughter, Willow, attending church, and listening to Gospel music.
A graveside service will be conducted by Reverends Randy Denton and Kevin Metz at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. The eulogy will be read by Tim Eubank.
