A Seymour motorcyclist was injured in an early-morning accident on Jonesville Road.
A Seymour motorcyclist was injured after he lost control of his motorcycle after hitting a deer in the 11000 block of South Jonesville Road early Thursday morning.
Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies were sent to the location at 1:47 a.m. Thursday where fire department personnel were providing medical assistance to Richard Duran, 46, Seymour.
Columbus Regional Health personnel arrived and continued medical care until StatFlight medics arrived.
Due to his injuries, Duran was transported to St. Vincent’s hospital in Indianapolis. St. Vincent’s officials were unable to provide a condition report on Thursday.
