The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southern Bartholomew County, northeastern Jackson County and northwestern Jennings County in southeastern Indiana until 5 p.m.
At 4:30 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 10 miles northwest of Seymour, moving east at 40 mph. The storm is producing 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for southeastern Brown County in south central Indiana, southwestern Bartholomew County in central Indiana until 4:30 p.m.At 4:01 p.m. a severe thunderstorm was located near Nashville, or 15 miles west of Columbus, moving east at 35 mph.
The storm had 60 mph wind gusts and could create damage to roofs, siding and trees.
Columbus is in the path of this storm, along with Interstate 65 between mile markers 58 to 71.
Hail and the possibility of a tornado have been indicated by radar.
A tornado watch remains in effect until 10 p.m. today for Bartholomew County and Columbus.
