COLUMBUS
Catherine C. Greer, 57, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:57 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at her home.
Catherine was born December 9, 1964, in Columbus, the daughter of Donald and Beatrice Ballard Burton.
She was a homemaker and she enjoyed watching her grandson play sports, her dogs, dirt track racing and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Jerra (Chris) Tungate of Columbus; grandson, Alijah Tungate; sister, Brenda Woods of Columbus and her companion, Ivan Greer of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ricky Burton.
The funeral will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Dale Lucas officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday and 10:00 a.m. to time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
