COLUMBUS, Ind. — A contractor will close a downtown intersection beginning Monday for utility work.
Tovey-Perry Co. has been working on the Columbus City Utilities sewer replacement project at the Indianapolis Road roundabout.
Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, the intersection of Eighth and Brown streets will close.
This will result in Brown Street being closed between Fifth Street and the roundabout and Eighth Street being closed between Brown and Lindsey streets.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area and use an alternate route.
