CROMWELL, Conn. — Tyler Duncan fired a 1-under-par 69 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 53rd in the Travelers Championship.
Starting on the back nine, Duncan, a 2008 Columbus North graduate, shot 1-under 34 on his first nine and even-par 35 on the front at TPC River Highlands. He was 3-under until until a double-bogey on No. 7.
Rory McIlroy and J.T. Poston are tied for the lead at 8-under 62.
