USDA Summer Feeding Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Anyone up to age 18 can pick up a bag that includes breakfast and lunch.

Knitting classes — 3:30 to 5 p.m., Shabby Sheep and Ewe, 1113 16th St., Columbus. Knitting classes for absolute beginners. $30 covers both classes. To register contact www.shabbysheepandewe.com or come in to the shop.

Reading With Lottie — 3:45 to 4:45 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Come practice your reading skills and read to Lottie, the Great Dane, in one of 4 individual story sessions! Each session lasts 15 minutes. This program is first come, first served and is for children in kindergarten to sixth grade.

French Storytime — 4 to 4:30 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join Columbus Indiana ACCUEIL for a special French storytime for ages 2-8.

Teen Thursgame: Casino Nite — 4 to 6 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Learn to play casino card games such as poker and blackjack with teen staff.

Bartholomew County Park Board — 4:30 p.m., Governmental Office Building, 440 Third St., Columbus.
