Ava Bunker
La JOLLA, Calif. — Ava Bunker carded a 74 in Thursday’s third round and is tied for 41st in the IMG Academy Junior World Championships.
Bunker, an Edinburgh resident who will be a freshman at Columbus North, had shot rounds of 71 and 73 the first two days at Torrey Pines South. She sits at 2-over 218 going into today’s final round.
Sammie Miller of Brentwood, California, leads the tournament at 8-under 208. Keeley Marx of Australia and Kelli Ann Strand of Challis, Idaho, are tied for second at 7-under 209.
