Cummins Inc. announced the election of Gary Belske to its board of directors.

In his most recent role as Ernst & Young’s deputy managing partner and chief operating officer, he was responsible for the overall strategy and operations for the Americas, where he oversaw business in 16 countries with approximately $15 billion in revenue, 50,000 employees and 4,000 partners. Prior to that, Belske served in other key leadership positions at Ernst & Young and worked with several of the firm’s largest global clients.

Belske has extensive board experience, having served on Ernst & Young’s Americas and U.S. boards for a decade. He also currently serves on the national board of College for Every Student and on the Board of Trustees at Rockhurst University. Since retiring from Ernst & Young, he has served on the Board of WilliamsMarston, an accounting, tax and valuation advisory firm.
