Deputies arrest two on drug-related charges after traffic stop

COLUMBUS, Ind. — Bartholomew County Sheriff deputies arrested two people after a traffic stop at 1:35 a.m. Thursday at West County Road 650N and Main Street.

Deputies said when K9 Jari alerted to narcotics inside the vehicle, deputies located (suspected) methamphetamine, marijuana and drug-related paraphernalia.

Allman

The driver, identified as Ashley Allman, 30, Elizabethtown, was remanded to the Bartholomew County Jail on preliminary charges of:
–Possession of methamphetamine
–Possession of marijuana
–Possession of paraphernalia
Allman has since been released.

Passenger, Craig Hill, 35, Columbus, was taken to the Bartholomew County Jail on the following preliminary charges:
–Possession of paraphernalia
–False informing
–Warrant

Hill

Hill remains in BCJ in lieu of $7,000 bond.
