Duncan misses cut after second consecutive 70

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Tyler Duncan made a charge on his second nine holes Friday, but came up two shots short of making the cut at the Wyndham Championship.

Starting on the back nine, the 2008 Columbus North graduate, took a quadruple-bogey 8 on No. 11 and shot 3-over-par 38 on his first nine at Sedgefield Country Club. He went 3-under 32 on the front to finish with his second consecutive even-par 70 to put him at 140 for 36 holes.

Brandon Wu, Joohyung Kim and Ryan Moore share the lead at 9-under 131.
