COLUMBUS
Ada Lee McNulty, 86, of Columbus passed from this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 9:46 a.m. at Willow Crossing Health &Rehabilitation Center.
Ada was born on Oct. 22, 1935, in Perry County, Kentucky the daughter of Charles Thomas and Edna F. Rudd Thomas Basham. She retired in 1988 after 14 years of service from Cummins Engine Company where she was an administrative assistant, and she attended Parkside Baptist Church. Upon retirement she enjoyed working at Par 3 Golf course and playing golf and doing her family genealogy.
Survivors include her children, Charleen Zimmerman of North Carolina, James (Toni) McNulty of Elizabethtown, David (Pam) McNulty of Scipio, and Lillian (Kenny) Barnes of Evansville; sister, Juanita Lawton of Jeffersonville; 10 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Carl Thomas.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home.
In keeping with Ms. McNulty’s wishes cremation has taken place and private services are scheduled.
Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
In memory of Ms. McNulty memorial contributions may be given through the funeral home to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
