Our Hospice of South Central Indiana is planning several fundraising events coming up prior to the organization’s 36th annual Free Summer Concert on Sept. 3 in Mill Race Park, featuring Yacht Rock Revue.
The concert, at 6:30 p.m., will feature Columbus locals Nicholas Niespodziani and Peter Olson performing live.
In addition to the concert, there are upcoming events to help support Our Hospice and the concert, which is the largest fundraiser of the year for the organization.
A drive-thru or dine-in fish fry will be Friday, Aug. 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., with free-will donations accepted. The fish fry will be at American Legion Post 24.
Also coming up will be a Drive-thru Cookie, Raffle Ticket and T-shirt event on Tuesday, Aug. 30 and Wednesday, Aug. 31, from noon to 6 p.m. in the NexusPark parking lot (cash or checks only).
Raffle tickets are $10 each. Cookies are donation accepted for small bag or get a box of three dozen for a minimum donation of $15. Homemade chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin and chocolate and peanut butter no-bake cookies will be available.
T-shirts, short sleeve with sizes Adult Small to 3XL are $20.
Concert T-shirts will also be offered and may be obtained by emailing [email protected] with quantity and sizes, or T-shirts will be available for purchase at the concert. For out-of-town orders, visit tonylondonco.printavo.com/merch/our-hospice-concert-2022 for ordering information.
In a new feature added this year, the Skyview Experience for the concert is available. The Mill Race amphitheater will be transformed into a unique concert/dinner experience, including a buffet dinner catered by Big J.T.’s Craft BBQ, ice cold Coca-Cola products, an excellent concert viewing location, a parking pass and private port-o-lets. The location overlooks the stage and the crowd — all for $100 a ticket. There are a limited number of tables for the Skyview Experience which may be reserved at care.ourhospice.org/skyview or by emailing [email protected].
“We are thankful to our title sponsors, FORVIA Faurecia and Columbus Regional Health and are encouraged that the community will further support our mission by purchasing raffle tickets, cookies and T-shirts or by making a donation directly at care-ourhospice.org/concert. We can’t wait to see everyone on Sept. 3 at Mill Race Park,” said Julie Davis, concert coordinator.
