North baseball coach leaving for Roncalli

Columbus North is in search of a new head baseball coach for the second time in as any years.

Pat Antone, who guided the Bull Dogs this spring, is stepping down after one season. Antone has taken the head coaching job at Roncalli.

Antone, who previously had led Boone Grove to a Class 2A state championship, said in a text message Thursday night that he accepted the Roncalli position on Wednesday night. He turned in his resignation at North on Thursday.

North went 18-7-1 under Antone this spring.
