A new candidate has filed to run for the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. school board.
Dona Lynn Owings, 67, filed her paperwork Tuesday afternoon and is seeking the District 2 seat currently held by Rich Stenner. Stenner has filed to run for the seat, and so has Roy West.
According to Owings’ paperwork, she was employed as a pastor at Faith Victory Church in 2021.
The deadline to turn in all necessary paperwork as a school board candidate is noon on Friday.
