North blanks Burris

INDIANAPOLIS — Fourth-ranked Columbus North wrapped up the regular season Friday with a 4-0 win against Muncie Burris.

The Bull Dogs (19-2) won all four matches that were completed by 6-0, 6-0 scores. Austin Clark beat Caleb Martin at No. 2 singles, Steven Sun topped Jaewin Kim at No. 3 singles, Amrit Kar and Anvay Atram defeated Jerry Fang and Bill Villaliz at No. 1 doubles and Parth Shah and Toki Murabatashi blanked Jonathan Slater and Jason Fang at No. 2 doubles.

Hank Lin was leading Charlie Behrman 7-6, 3-2 when that match was called because of darkness.

Devils edge Panthers

JEFFERSONVILLE — Jennings County fell to Jeffersonville 3-2 in the third-place match of the Hoosier Hills Conference Tournament.

Owen Law beat Jaden Wells 6-1, 3-6, 7-5 at No. 1 singles, and Parker Bales topped Teddy Burnette 6-1, 6-3 at No. 2 singles for the Panthers (13-8).

Jennings’ Janne Sebastian fell to Matthew Lowe 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3 singles. Justin Ramey and Ryan Schuck lost to Reggie Ellis and Hayden Boseker 6-1, 6-4 at No. 1 doubles, and Alex Leach and Ty Zohrlaut fell to Eli Cochrum and Ryan Crawford 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2 doubles.
