Bull Dogs slay Dragons

SELLERSBURG — Columbus North built a 22-point lead midway through the second quarter Friday and cruised from there to an 85-51 win at Silver Creek.

Luke Harmon scored 16 of his career-high and game-high 19 points in the first quarter for the Bull Dogs (2-2). Ty Ferguson scored 16 points, Cooper Horn had 14 points and six rebounds, Tyler Blythe scored 12 points and Damon Edwards added nine points.

Columbus Christian falls

Traders Point Christian jumped out to a 23-4 lead after one quarter and went on to hand Columbus Christian a 68-37 defeat.

Jordan Burton and Parker Walden each scored 11 points to lead the Crusaders (3-2). Jacob Bell added seven.

Panthers rout Cubs

MADISON — Jennings County jumped out to a 44-23 halftime lead and went on to roll to an 85-51 win at Madison.

Carter Kent led the Panthers (3-0) with 17 points, while Keegan Manowitz had 13 points, nine assists and four steals and Lane Zohrlaut scored 13 points. Cole Sigler had 12 points, Owen Law scored nine points and Parker Elmore and Justin Ramey each added eight points.

Lancers topple Twisters

OLDENBURG — Class A No. 2 Edinburgh rolled to a 58-34 win at Oldenburg Academy.

Caleb Dewey led the Lancers (3-0) with 18 points. Jarrett Turner and Connor Ramey each added 10.

Chargers slip past Cougars

GREENSBURG — South Decatur led 12-8 after one quarter, but North Decatur rallied for a 60-55 victory.

Jacob Scruggs led the Cougars (1-1) with 19 points. Dorian Hacker scored 14, and Dale Peters added 13.

Crusaders rally for win

Traders Point Christian led 31-30 after three quarters, but Columbus Christian rallied for a 48-40 victory.

Sarah Lorimor led the Crusaders (3-3) with 21 points. Lauren Sanders scored nine, and Eva Blair added eight.
