HARTSVILLE
Aimee N. Johnson-Ketchum, 41, of Hartsville, passed away at 9:34 p.m. Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Aimee was born Christmas Day, December 25, 1980, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Daniel A. and Sondra J. Quillen Evans. She was the best present her parents would ever receive. With her red hair and green eyes, she had the fiery temperament to match. She loved fiercely and carried a protective shield to protect those she loved the most. She gave birth to her beautiful mini-me, Katelyn Johnson on August 2, 2013. She is a beautiful little girl with such a warm and kind heart. She married the love of her life, Sean A. Ketchum on March 3, 2021. Together, they brought into this world Jackson James Ketchum on January 14, 2021. A beautiful little rambunctious boy with a smile that could melt the coldest of hearts. She loved and was loved deeply and will be missed for the remainder of our lives.
Survivors include her husband, Sean; children, Katelyn Johnson, Jackson Ketchum, the Ketchum children; parents, Daniel and Sondra Evans; aunt Chanta Quillen, both of Hope and Paula (Clayton) Duffee of Talco, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Wilma Quillen, William and Eve Evans.
The visitation for Aimee will take place on Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. There will be no funeral service. The family has chosen cremation following the visitation.
Inurnment will be private.
