Crusaders rally for win

MARTINSVILLE — Columbus Christian trailed 32-26 at halftime before rallying for a 60-50 win Tuesday at Martinsville Tabernacle Christian.

Sarah Lorimor led the Crusaders (5-3) with 26 points. Lauren Sanders scored 13, and Emma Murray added 10.

East falls to Floyd

FLOYDS KNOBS — Floyd Central jumped out to a 17-7 lead after one quarter and went on to hand Columbus East a 58-42 defeat in its Hoosier Hills Conference opener, snapping the Olympians’ 16-game conference winning streak.

Saige Stahl led the Olympians (5-5, 0-1) with 22 points and seven rebounds. East shot just 20 percent (9 of 45) from the field.

Panthers down Owls

SEYMOUR — Jennings County opened its HHC season with a 48-28 win at Seymour.

Juliann Woodard led the Panthers (6-2, 1-0) with 23 points. Manto Vadell added eight.

Lancers slip past GCA

EDINBURGH — Edinburgh overcame 13 for 29 shooting from the free-throw line to hang on for a 44-38 win against Greenwood Christian Academy.

Gracie Crawhorn led the Lancers (4-6) with 21 points. Kenna Streeval added 10.

Eagles top T-Birds

NASHVILLE — Brown County trailed 35-33 after three quarters before rallying for its third consecutive win, a 47-44 triumph against Eastern Greene.

Ava Stogsdill led the Eagles (4-4) with 15 points. Lexie Austin scored 12, and Savannah Oden added eight.

Trinity wins again

SEYMOUR — Class A No. 4 Trinity Lutheran picked up its sixth consecutive win, a 59-50 victory against South Ripley.

Bailey Tabeling led the Cougars (6-1) with 30 points. Jordan Brewer scored 13, and Liza Froedge added 12
