COLUMBUS
Melanie Snyder Dittamore, 73, of Columbus passed away January 18, 2023 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
She was born November 25, 1949 in Columbus, the daughter of Isham K. Snyder, Jr. and A. Jeanne Rust Snyder.
She was a 1968 graduate of Columbus High School and a 1972 graduate of Indiana State University.
She lived and worked in Houston Texas for over 30 years. After working in Iraq for 2 years she moved to California then to Chicago before returning home to Columbus.
She is survived by her mother, A. Jeanne Snyder of Columbus; brother, Brian K. (Nancy) Snyder; nieces, Kimberly Snyder and Megan Morales; nephews, Brian K. Snyder II and Chance Snyder; great nephews, Hudson and Wyatt Morales; 2 Columbus Cousins, Laura (C.O.) Weddle and Jay Alvis; numerous extended family.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Dale and Reba Rust and Isham and Emma Snyder.
