Cheryl Anne Vandesteeg, 66, passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2023. Cheryl was born October 4, 1956 in Bartholomew County. She was the daughter of James and Roselyn Strahl. Cheryl was a Travel Agent, sales representative, and office assistant during her working career in west Lafayette, northeast Ohio, and in New Hampshire. She retired early to pursue traveling. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1974. She married kerry vandesteeg on May 22,1976. Cheryl is survived by her husband, her daughter Amanda Miller, her son Kristopher (Nicole) Vandesteeg; grandchildren Tatum, Tori, Kenzie, Ellie, Aj, Maggie. Cheryl was preceded in death by her father. Cheryl started living a nomadic lifestyle in 2016, living in their RV bus chasing 70 weather. She passed away while in the Houston area. In keeping with Cheryl’s request, cremation will take place and celebration of life gathering may take place at a later date.
