COLUMBUS
Joe Fish, 63, of Columbus, died at his home on February 25, 2023. Joe was born July 5, 1959 in Seymour, the son of Marvin (Bill) Fish and Virginia (Jenny) Harrison Fish.
Joe worked for Peter’s Heating and Cooling for 40 years and was currently the owner and operator of JF Heating &Air Conditioning. He was an avid fan of Purdue and the Dallas Cowboys, and loved to gamble and play the lottery. Most of all, he loved spending time with his children and family.
Visitation will be at Wednesday March 1, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Jewell Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Bridgewater officiating. A graveside service will immediately follow. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to East Columbus Christian Church.
Survivors include his parents Bill and Jenny Fish; son, Lelynd Fish; daughter, Leyla Fish both of Columbus; step children, Dorthea Glick of Columbus and Chris Mozingo of South Carolina; brother James (Machelle) Fish of Columbus; niece, Erin Fish; nephews, Nick Fish, Jacob Fish, Caden Fish, and Eddie (Mickey) King of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Cindy Fish, second wife, Wendy Fish; brother, Jeffery Lee Fish, and several aunts and uncles.
