PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic — Tyler Duncan fired a 1-under-par 71 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 26th place in the Corales Puntacana Championship.
Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate shot even-par 36 on his first nine and 1-under 35 on the front at Puntacana Resort and Club’s Corales Course. He had an eagle, three birdies and four bogeys.
Brice Garrett and Ben Martin share the lead at 6-under-66. Matt Wallace is one shot back at 5-under 67.
