Duncan tied for fourth after second-round 65

PUNTA CANA, Dominican Republic — Tyler Duncan fired the day’s second-best round, a 7-under-par 65, Friday to move into a tie for fourth place in the Corales Puntacana Championship.

The Columbus North graduate birdied the final six holes on the front nine to shoot 5-under 31 and closed with a 2-under 34 on the back nine at Puntacana Resort and Club’s Corales Golf Course. He had opened with a 1-under 71 on Thursday and sits at 8-under 136 at the midway point.

Matt Wallace leads the tournament at 11-uner 133, one shot ahead of Sam Stevens and Wyndham Clark. Duncan is three shots back, tied with Akshay Bhatia and Brice Garrett.
