COLUMBUS
Randall N. Shireman, 65, of Columbus, passed from this life Friday, March 24, 2023, at his home.
Mr. Shireman was born December 26, 1957, in Columbus, the son of Robert L. and Ella Mae Gates Shireman.
Randall was a shop supervisor at Shelby Materials where he had been employed for 35 years.
He was a member of Teamsters Union 135.
He enjoyed collecting and working on Wheel Horse tractors, antiquing, looking at classic cars and spending time with his nieces and great-niece.
Survivors include his sons, Colin (Kailee Wubben) Shireman and Connor Shireman both of Columbus; siblings, Debbie (Mo) Holman of Taylorsville, Marty (Tim) Hirons of Columbus and Michael (Alma) Shireman of Indianapolis; nieces, Lacey (Jordan) Spurlin, Katee (Dalton) Meyers, Audrey (John) Miller and Tessa Hirons and a great-niece, Harper Mae Spurlin.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joyce Shireman Williams.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Nathan Greene officiating.
A time of visitation for family and friends will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday and 9:00 a.m. to time of service.
He will be laid to rest at Garland Brook Cemetery.
