Duncan tied for 34th in Valero Texas Open

SAN ANTONIO — Tyler Duncan was 3-under-par through 14 holes Friday when the second round of the Valero Texas Open was suspended because of darkness.

The Columbus North graduate, who had opened with a 1-over 73 on Thursday, moved up from a tie for 77th to a tie for 34th. He is 2-under with four holes to finish in his second round this morning.

The projected cut line is at 1-under.

Avon native Patrick Rodgers leads the tournament at 11-under 133 through 36 holes.
