FORT WAYNE — IUPUC bounced back from a 17-15 loss in the first game of a doubleheader Friday to post its fourth win of the baseball season, a 17-5 victory against Grace Christian (Michigan).
Peyton Blinn went 4 for 5 with a double and two RBIs, Ben Fricke went 2 for 3 with a home run and four RBIs, Max Wyninger had a home run and four RBIs, Cyrus Robinson had a home run and three RBIs and Wyatt Sutton had a double and two RBIs in the opener. Colin Fee, the second of three Crimson Pride pitchers, took the loss.
In the second game, Blinn went 3 for 5 with a double, a home run and four RBIs; Robinson went 2 for 3 with a triple, a home run and five RBIs and Jared Ross went 2 for 3 with a home run and two RBIs. Gavin Haltom went the first six innings to pick up the win.
IUPUC (4-41) wraps up its season with a single game today against Grace Christian.
