Heritage Fund – the Community Foundation of Bartholomew County recently awarded $401,055 in grants from the Community Fund to local nonprofit organizations as part of its first-quarter grants cycle for 2023.
Grant recipients are:
• Office of Downtown Development – $225,000 over three years to support ODD pilot
• Family Service, Inc. – $160,555 over two years to support one youth-focused mental health counselor
• All The Kingz Men – $8,000 to remodel space for youth programming
• kidscommons – $7,500 to support new exhibit design fees
Through the generous support of community members, HF annually distributes approximately $600,000 to $700,000 in grants to local nonprofits from the unrestricted Community Fund. Community Fund grants help the foundation to meet emerging needs in Bartholomew County.
