COLUMBUS
Norma Trimpe, 90, of Columbus, died at 6:07 p.m., Friday, May 26, 2023, at Traditions of Columbus.
Norma was born September 21, 1932, in Reddington, the daughter of Jasper and Marie Nicholson Marsh.
Norma worked in many Bartholomew County Government offices. She served as the Bartholomew County Clerk from 1999 until 2007. She enjoyed dancing and going to restaurants with her friends. Family was the most important thing in her life.
The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Douglas Bauman officiating. Calling will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Reddington Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Survivors include her children, Michael Trimpe of Nashville, Indiana, Tina (Rob) Baltus, of Seymour, grandchildren, Trevor, Emily and Erin Trimpe, Kirsten Hulsbosch, and Clarrisa Rachford; great-grandchildren, Lorelai, Milo, and Elliot Hulsbosch and Gavin Rachford; and a brother, William (Bill) and Linda Marsh of Seymour
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Delores Gallion.
