Duncan tied for 70th after opening-round 70

TORONTO — Tyler Duncan carded an even-par 70 in Thursday’s opening round and is tied for 70th place in the RBC Canadian Open.

Starting on the back nine, the Columbus North graduate shot 3-under 33 on his first nine and 3-over-39 on the back. He had three birdies, a bogey and a double-bogey.

Aaron Rai, Justin Lower, Corey Conners and Chesson Hadley are tied for the lead at 5-under 67.
