State Road 46 East has reopened, according to emergency management.

COLUMBUS, Ind. — The Bartholomew County Sheriff Department is asking motorists to avoid State Road 46 East near County Road 200S due to an accident with serious injuries.
Deputies say the road will be closed for several hours.
This is in the area of Rockcreek School but, the school is not involved in the accident, according to Bartholomew County Emergency Management Director Shannan Cooke.
