Columbus Plan Commission approved a plan by Menard Inc. to build a 10,000-square-foot strip mall on the city’s west side, on the vacant lot between Wendy’s and Buffalo Wild Wings, beginning in the spring of 2014.


One of the four bodies taken from shallow graves in Waymansville was identified as missing camper Jamie Engleking.


By a 46-31 vote, employees of the city’s streets, sanitation and utilities departments unofficially approved Local No. 741, Laborers International Union of North America, as their exclusive bargaining agent.
