COLUMBUS, Ind. – Bartholomew County Emergency Management said today a weather system is expected to impact the county beginning tonight and continuing through Thursday, with some snow possible in overnight hours.
The National Weather Service is predicting a brief rain-snow mix tonight, then rain for Bartholomew County and most of southern Indiana
Rain is expected across all of central Indiana Tuesday, then light snow and windy on Tuesday night.
Bartholomew County could see a total precipitation amount of 1” to 1.5”, up to 1 inch of this in snow.
Emergency Management said snow or wet roads with mixed precipitation and low overnight temperatures could impact roads locally.Wind gusts are expected to range from 20 to 40 mph between Monday afternoon and Thursday morning.
There are currently no Advisories, Watches, or Warnings issued for Bartholomew County.
