Third-graders at Rockcreek Elementary School participated in an act of community service by donating items to the pediatric unit at Columbus Regional Hospital. Donations included coloring books, crayons, puzzles, markers, activity books, stickers and reading books.

About 30 C4 Columbus Area Career Connection students set their sights on Australia where they would race 2,000 miles across the outback in a solar-powered car they designed and built. The student team, called Solar Stealth II, hoped to win the Winston Solar Challenge and $4,300 in prize money.
