CAMPBELLSBURG — Trinity Lutheran ran out to a 55-3 halftime lead Tuesday and cruised from there in rolling to a 73-21 girls basketball win against Medora in the opening round of the New Washington Sectional.
Liza Froedge scored 20 points to go over the 1,000-point mark for her career and lead the Cougars (11-11). Bailey Bonde scored 14, Marley Warren had 12 and Zoey Delaney added eight.
Trinity will play New Washington in the semifinals at 6 p.m. Friday.
