COLUMBUS
Yevette S. Bryant, 36, of Columbus, passed from this life at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Ms. Bryant was born July 25, 1987, in Columbus, the daughter of Scott Bryant and Suzanne Tice Bryant.
She attended Columbus North High School and McDowell Learning Center and was employed at Steak ‘n Shake Restaurant. She was a member of Corinthian Baptist Church. Yevette loved playing basketball and watching sports on T.V. She played both school and AAU Basketball as a youth. She was a kind and caring person who had a warm smile and never met a stranger and due to her generosity as an organ donor 3 individual’s lives were saved.
Survivors include her parents; her great-aunt who raised her, Paulette Young of Columbus; siblings, Chris (Cassi Smith) Bryant of Columbus, twin brother, Delman Bryant of Clarksville, Ceaira (Jesser Sotelo) Bryant of Indianapolis and Brittnee Bryant of Columbus; aunt, Dana Bryant of Indianapolis; and her grandmother, Phyliss Bryant of Columbus; nephews, Adrian Bryant, Tyshawn Bryant, Lawrence Bryant, Connor Smith, Christopher Bryant, Camryn Bryant; and a niece, Adryana Bryant.
The funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Barkes, Weaver &Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Anthony Toran officiating.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 10:00 a.m. to time of service Saturday, February 3, 2024, at the funeral home.
