NORTH VERNON — Sam Burkman knocked in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth Monday to give Jennings County baseball a 5-4 walkoff win against Bedford North Lawrence.
Zane Wienhorst went 3 for 4 with a double for the Panthers (11-13). Ryan Schuck and Landon Pike each went 2 for 4, and Cooper Lane had two RBIs.
Austin Byford pitched the final two innings to pick up the win in relief of Owen Kipper and Schuck.
