CLOVERDALE — Cloverdale scored a run in the bottom of the seventh to tie it, then scored in the bottom of the eighth to pull out a 4-3 Western Indiana Conference softball win against Brown County on Thursday.
Chloe Poling went 2 for 3 with a double, and Ava Sanders went 2 for 4 for the Eagles (6-13, 1-8). The pair combined on a 12-hitter with nine strikeouts.
