Bartholomew County
Kids Camp — 9 a.m. to noon, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 719 Fifth St., Columbus. Get ready for your child or preteen to experience a high energy fun filled week at St. Peter’s Kids Camp. Camp will be open to 3 year olds through current 5th graders. All camp participants will receive a T-shirt.
Storytime — 11 to 11:45 a.m., Bartholomew County Historical Society Museum, 524 Third St., Columbus. Join library staff to learn about our local history, have fun, and play. After storytime, you can explore the museum or play outside on the patio. This event is designed to be toddler and preK friendly, but kids of all ages and their caregivers are welcome.
Walk-In Wednesdays — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., The Landmark, 729 Washington St., Columbus. All teens entering 7th through 12th grades are welcome to join Turning Point’s Prevention Team for a summer program providing free lunch and activities for local youth. There is no need to sign up. TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) 1444 — 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., Mill Race Center, 50 Carl Miske Drive, Columbus. Weigh-in at 11:30 a.m., meeting at 12 to 1 p.m. Must be a member of Mill Race Center. For more information, call Deborah Grounds at 702-513-5183.
USDA Summer Food Service Program — Noon to 1 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Food must be eaten on site and folks are not permitted to leave with the meals. Meals are free for children 18 years of age and under. Adults over the age of 18 may purchase a meal for $4.70.
Teen Watch-It Wednesday — 1 to 4 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Mystery movie mania all summer long. June 12’s movies are “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” (1920), “The Man Who Knew Too Much” and “The 39 Steps.”

Builders’ Guild — 4 to 5 p.m., Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St., Columbus. Join library staff and fellow builders to create, share, and have fun. Each session will feature a building challenge as well as free play, and participants’ creations may be featured in one of our library display cases. This month, we build our most mysterious creations.
