HOPE — A walking tour on Tuesday evening will highlight the beginnings of library services in Bartholomew County’s second-largest community.
The tour beginning at 6 p.m. around the Hope Town Square will focus on library services and how they are delivered through library satellites and how these offerings serve the community.
The walk will begin at the Hope Branch of the Bartholomew County Public Library, 635 Harrison St.
Assistant librarian Shelly Bishop will lead the tour. She said the walk will highlight various locations where library services have been provided in Hope over the years on the town square and nearby on Mill Street.
Bishop said the event is taking place in conjunction with the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the Bartholomew County Public Library system. For more information about this and other library events, visit mybcpl.org.
