INDIANAPOLIS — The Leagues of Women Voters of Hancock, Henry, and Johnson counties, and the League of Women Voters of Indianapolis in coordination with Woof Boom Radio will sponsor a forum for candidates in Indiana’s 6th Congressional District.
The 6th Congressional District includes Fayette, Hancock, Henry, Johnson, Rush, Shelby, Union, and Wayne counties, and parts of Bartholomew, Marion, and Randolph counties.
The forum will be held at the H. J. Ricks Centre for the Arts, 122 W. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46120, on Wednesday, Sept. 25th at 6 p.m. The audience will have the opportunity to submit questions to the candidates. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
All three candidates, Libertarian James Sceniak, Republican Jefferson Shreve, and Democrat Cynthia Wirth were invited. James Sceniak and Cynthia Wirth will participate.
The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization. Founded in 1920, its ongoing major activities include registering voters, providing voter information, boosting voter turnout and advocating for voting rights.
