JACKSON COUNTY — The Jackson County Chamber will host a debate at 7 p.m. Wednesday between the Democrat and Republican candidates for the Indiana District 69 state representative seat.
Incumbent Jim Lucas, R-Seymour, and contender Trish Whitcomb, a Seymour Democrat, have both agreed to participate in the debate which will be held in the Earl D. Prout Auditorium at Seymour High School. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Jackson County Chamber and the Jackson County Visitor Center are hosting the debate, which is free and open to the public.
