INDIANAPOLIS — Southport scored four goals in the second half Monday to break a 1-1 tie and post a 5-2 Conference Indiana boys soccer win against Class 3A No. 11 Columbus North.

The Bull Dogs (8-5-1, 2-2) took a 1-0 lead when Sam Brown scored off an assist from Bryan Rodriguez in the 19th minute. After giving up a pair of goals, North tied it at 2-2 on a goal by Luccas Peda in the 54th minute.
The Cardinals regained the lead two minutes later, then added two more goals in the final 20 minutes.
Southport outshot the Bull Dogs 21-5, putting eight shots on goal to five for North. Juan Jose Salcedo Calderon recorded two saves in 61 minutes, and Noah Marsh added one save over the final 19 minutes.
