INDIANAPOLIS — Sixth-ranked Columbus North dropped only one game in the five matches Tuesday in rolling to a 5-0 Conference Indiana girls tennis win at Southport.

GREENSBURG — Hauser matched Greensburg with seven hits Tuesday, but the Pirates jumped out to an 8-0 lead after two innings and went on to post a 10-4 baseball victory.

SELLERSBURG — Columbus East led 7-6 after six innings Tuesday, but Silver Creek pushed across a pair of runs in the bottom of the seventh to pull out an 8-7 baseball victory.

NORTH VERNON — Carter Greene and Pierce Arnholt tied for medalist honors with 37s Tuesday to lead Columbus East to a 159-177 boys golf victory against Jennings County at St. Anne’s.

Bloomington North swept a track and field dual meet at Columbus East on Tuesday. The No. 1-ranked Cougar boys won 117-14, while the No. 7 Bloomington North girls won 115 1/2-16 1/2.

HOPE — Hauser won all five matches in straight sets Monday to post a 5-0 girls tennis win against Rushville.

Whiteland dropped only three games in the four contested matches Tuesday in handling Columbus East a 5-0 girls tennis defeat.

Miami-Hamilton scored three times in the top of the ninth Tuesday to claim a 10-7 baseball victory at IU Columbus.
