Join us for the 19th Annual Kiwanis’ Incredible Duck Splash at Mill Race Park.
There will be a FREE MAGIC SHOW, STAR WARS CHARACTERS, BOUNCE HOUSE, GAMES, DUCKS DROPPING OUT OF A HELICOPTER AND FAMILY FUN at this year’s Kiwanis Incredible Duck Splash! Hot dogs, hamburgers, and other refreshments will be available for purchase from the Columbus Key Clubs.
By adopting ducks from one of our “Duck Buddy” youth organizations, you will not only put 80% of your purchase back into supporting that youth organization, but you will also have a chance to win some of our cash and prizes worth over $12,000. One lucky duck will even have 10 chances to win a new car from the Columbus Automotive Group or $50,000.
Ducks are available for adoption from any local Kiwanis member, at Midwest Computer Solutions (1500 Central Ave., Columbus), and from any participating “Duck Buddy” youth organization listed at www.kducks.com. One duck cost $5 to adopt, and discount packages are available for multiple adoptions:
* Kwack Pack (five ducks for $20)
* Baker’s Dozen (13 ducks for $50)
* Mini-Flock (20 ducks for $75)
* Flock (30 ducks for $100).
Additional proceeds after expenses help support community service projects conducted by the Evening Kiwanis, Golden K Kiwanis, and Meridian Kiwanis clubs of Columbus.
Ducks will also be available for adoption at the Duck Central tent at Mill Race Park by Round Lake from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. And the first 100 kids who arrive will receive a coupon for a free Dilly Bar from the Downtown Dairy Queen and a coupon for a free Happy Meal from the Andy Ball McDonald’s franchises. The big attraction will be seeing some of our ducks dropped from a helicopter, courtesy of Columbus Helicopter at 12:30 p.m. and prize winners will be announced between 1:30 and 2 p.m. Winners do not need to be present to win.
