We all want to develop positive aspirations for the new year! Usually we are thinking about external things to change. How about improving your mind? Imagine being happier more, and unhappy less! In this class series, Gen Kelsang Chokyi will explore how we can cultivate and maintain happy states of mind through meditation by choosing to make it a daily habit.
Jan 4 – What does Happy Mean?
Jan 11 – Recognizing & Reducing Negative Habits
Jan 18 – Relating Our Mind with Our World
Jan 25 – Maintaining a Happy Mind
You don’t need to be Buddhist to benefit from these precious teachings. Each class includes a relaxing breathing meditation, a teaching, a contemplative meditation, and a closing dedication. Each class can be attended individually or as a series.
This 60-minute meditation class will be based on How to Transform Your Life by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.
Wednesday night is taught by Gen Kelsang Chokyi.
