Calling all kids (and grownups) who care! Join library staff as we learn together through community service and engagement. This month, we will be meeting at the Recycling Center at 720 S. Mapleton Street to take a tour and to learn more about how we can better care for our things and for our planet. As part of this session, we will be sorting recyclables, and you are invited to bring a box of your own items to recycle. This program is appropriate for children and families of all ages who are looking for service opportunities or just want to help and show how much they care. Information about what items can and cannot be recycled can be found online at https://www.bcswmd.com. Registration for this program is encouraged for planning purposes, but not required.
