WALDRON — Kyah Streeval went 3 for 3 with a double, triple and home run and five RBIs Thursday to lead Edinburgh to a 12-2, five-inning Mid-Hoosier Conference softball win at Waldron.

NASHVILLE — Clay Austin fired a 37 Thursday to win medalist honors and lead Brown County to a 173-196 boys golf win against Eastern Greene at Salt Creek.

BLOOMINGTON — Bloomington South pulled out a 3-2 win against Brown County in Thursday’s Bloomington South Sectional semifinals, avenging a 3-2 girls tennis loss to the Eagles in the regular season.

BROWNSTOWN — Jennings County finished second in Thursday’s Brownstown Central boys track and field sectional. Springs Valley won with 128.5 points to 103 for the Panthers, 95 for Brownstown and 90.5 for Seymour.

ST. LEON — South Decatur finished eighth with 34 points in Thursday’s East Central boys track and field sectional. The host Trojans won with 143 points for 97 for runner-up Batesville.

BLOOMINGTON — Brown County finished eighth with 15 points in Thursday’s Bloomington North boys track and field sectional. The host Cougars won with 195 points to 177 for runner-up Bloomington South.
