Sheriff’s department distributes booklets on danger of drugs

The Bartholomew County Sheriff’s Department is distributing a series of free booklets about the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

The booklets, from the Foundation for a Drug-Free World, are about the dangers of marijuana, alcohol, Ecstasy, cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal meth and methamphetamine, inhalants, heroin, LSD and prescription drug abuse.

Anyone interested in obtaining copies of the booklets, or asking a deputy to speak to a group or organization about the dangers of drugs, should call the sheriff’s department at 812-379-1740 or 812-565-5961.
