Thomas D. “Tom” Hickman, 57, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015, at his home.
Born December 22, 1957, in Coalmont, Indiana, he was the son of James Hickman Sr. and Lillian Mae (Crist) Hickman. On January 20, 1978, in Jasonville, he married Mary Ricketts.
Tom worked at NTN Driveshaft for 14 years as a lead maintenance technician and previously worked at Impact Forge for 13 years. He enjoyed gardening, driving his Razor around, and spending time with family.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; son, David Hickman of Norman; daughter, Camby Stewart of Seymour; grandkids, Dena Hull, Lillian Hull, Cynthia Johnson, Justice Hickman and Cierra Hickman. Tom also had several nieces and nephews who survive him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, James Hickman; and his sister, Carol Lynch.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Friday, March 13, 2015, at Woodlawn Life Celebration Centre, 311 Holiday Square Road in Seymour. Services will be on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Spraytown Cemetery.
